Meet our orthopedic surgeons
Rena R. Amro M.D. would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to her practice.
Dr. Amro is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, and has been practicing orthopaedic surgery in Palm Beach County since 2002. Prior to coming to Palm Beach County, she practiced at the world renown Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Amro did her Undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University graduating magna cum laude and went to Medical School at the Jefferson Medical College graduating in the top of her medical school class. She did her internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the ivy league Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Amro’s areas of interest include Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, Fracture Care, Arthritis Care, Women’s’ Bone Health, and Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Amro is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. She is a member of the Florida Orthopedic Society, Southern Orthopedic Association and the Palm Beach County Medical Society.
Dr. Amro enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Amro has received many awards including Top Orthopedist for 2015, 2016, Super Doctors, Most Compassionate Physician Award in 2007 and 2019, and America's Best Physician Award for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, and Top Surgeon Award for 2016 and 2018.
